Meet The Hosts
Tyree j brown
The star of the show and brains behind the operation, Tyree first came up with the idea to do the podcast in an effort to digitize the legacy of the Blue Spaders from their deployment to Samarra, Iraq in 2004.
Born and raised in the Los Angelas area, Tyree comes from a very humble, West Coast upbringing. Being fairly close to family, especially his dad, Tyree learned the value of hardwork and strength in family. So it's no surprise that he found himself joining the United States Army as an Infantryman. After completing Infantry OSUT in December 2002, he was assigned to B Co. 1-26th Infantry Regiment based in Schweinfurt, Germany. From there, he would see deployments to Kosovo and Iraq. After service, he would go on to serve 13 years in the LAPD. A deep thinker and a creative mind, these experiences and many others would later shape his future path.
Kevin Johnson is the guy who talks way more than he needs to on the show, but you get used to it. He was born and raised in the beautiful state of Arkansas, where he currently resides today. Kevin's military career began in the summer of 2001 where he completed Infantry training. After completing his basic training, Kevin was deployed with Bravo Company 1-26th Infantry "Blue Spaders" to Kosovo in 2002 and Iraq in 2004. During his deployments, Kevin served with distinction, earning numerous awards and commendations for his bravery and dedication. After completing his active duty service, Kevin continued to serve his country as a Drill Sergeant in the US Army Reserve. He has dedicated himself to training and mentoring the next generation of soldiers, and he takes great pride in helping them develop the skills and discipline they need to succeed in the military. Throughout his military career, Kevin has demonstrated a deep commitment to his country and his fellow soldiers.
